Prime Overlord Obsydius Desolatur, formerly named Seraphix, is a character of monumental consequence and a poignant cautionary tale within the vast chronicles of the Alpha Dimension. His tale, steeped in tragedy and betrayal, paints a vivid picture of brilliance tarnished by treachery and an unchecked ambition that led to a descent into desolation.

In the beginning, he was known as Seraphix, an illustrious figure among the Enduralan, a race of immortals of extraordinary power, crafted from the cosmic vision of the Sovereign Genasys during the First Creation. His wisdom, strength, and kindness won him the reverence and affection of his peers, marking him as a paragon among his kin.

Seraphix was a beacon of benevolence, his reputation as dazzling as the obsidian crystal from which he would later draw his adopted name. Yet beneath the brilliance of his virtues, discontent began to burgeon. His thirst for knowledge, originally a laudable trait, morphed into a relentless pursuit of power. This led him to tread paths that were forbidden, his intellectual curiosity becoming a destructive force.

As his pride and ambition grew insatiable, Seraphix started to covet the power he had no right to claim. This uncontrollable desire set him on a path of betrayal, causing a rift among the Enduralan, and marking the end of unity. In the wake of his betrayal, Seraphix was no more. The beloved figure was replaced by Obsydius, a name chosen for its cold, unyielding nature, echoing his fall from grace.

The Wayfolk, living witnesses to his catastrophic downfall, bestowed upon him two names, both condemning and fitting – Infidelis Solum, “The Faithless One,” and Infidelis Maledictus, “Faithless and Accursed.” These names were given in response to his transgressions, notably when he descended upon Aurea Olam, forming the Void Dominion, and enslaving millions of Wayfolk. Using his infamous staff, the Monolith of Despair, he transformed the enslaved Wayfolk into Abominari, monstrous thralls that further amplified his power and struck terror into the hearts of the free Wayfolk.

His transformation into Desolatur, a term derived from Latin signifying “desolation,” symbolizes the destruction he unleashed upon Aurea Olam. Now known as Prime Overlord Obsydius Desolatur, he remains a menacing figure of immense power and influence, his dark legacy casting a long, ominous shadow over the Alpha Dimension.

His actions are a chilling testament to the catastrophic repercussions of unchecked ambition and pride, influencing the narratives and cautionary tales that shape Aurean society to this day. It’s said that Obsydius forged the Monolith of Despair at the core of a dying star, exploiting its potent energy and the potent Deathstone ore to create a weapon of unmatched power and terror. Imbued with the highest potency Quantum Nihil Essence, the Monolith of Despair is a stark symbol of his oppressive rule and the despair he has inflicted upon Aurea Olam.

Conversely, these societies also assign dishonorable titles to those guilty of heinous acts. These ignominious titles serve as a grim reflection of their crimes, a symbol of shame, and a potent deterrent to those who might contemplate similar transgressions. Thus, the tradition of bestowing titles serves as a stark embodiment of the values, the victories, and the challenges these societies face in their constant struggle against the forces that threaten Aurea Olam.

Title: Infidelis Maledictus

Description: Obsydius, once a revered Enduralan of Aurea Olam, now carries the notorious title Infidelis Maledictus – the Faithless and Accursed. His form, once a beacon of cosmic order, is now a formidable force of Void Nihil. Despite maintaining his original name, Obsydius has become synonymous with treachery and betrayal.

History: Obsydius, adorned with the title Infidelis Maledictus, was once a dutiful guardian of Aurea Olam. Over the eons, a creeping dark force subtly swayed his convictions, instilling within him a hunger for dominance and power. His pride and fall from grace was not abrupt but a gradual descent into a thirst for supremacy that tainted his once noble intentions.

His transformation led to a series of betrayals against his fellow Enduralan and Aurea Olam he had once sworn to protect. This ultimately sparked a cosmic war, leaving deep scars in the fabric of Aurea Olam and threatening its very stability. The Wayfolkwere the ones to dub him Infidelis Maledictus, reflecting his fall from honor.

Eventually contained in the blighted East of Aurea Olam for his actions, Obsydius, the Faithless and Accursed, still poses a significant threat to Aurea Olam. His influence, like a seeping poison, continues to corrupt the realm from afar, undermining its stability and peace. Though currently contained, Obsydius’ ambition and the Nihil that drives him have not waned. He continues to plot his return, eager to reclaim his position, not as a guardian but as a conqueror. The title of Infidelis Maledictus serves as a stark reminder among the Wayfolk of the betrayal that led to his banishment and the looming threat he continues to represent.

Deathstone and the Monolith of Despair

The Deathstone, an incredibly rare and potent ore, is buried deep within the scorched crust of the Void Expanse. This ominous material was created from the chaotic energies of a cosmos in flux, refined in the fires of nascent star systems and then scattered across the universe. When Aurea Olam was still forming, this ancient ore, possessing a terrifying affinity for the raw forces of Nihil, settled within what would become the Void Expanse.

Among the various materials in existence, Obsydius chose Deathstone to construct his mighty weapon, the Monolith of Despair. To achieve this daunting task, he ventured into the heart of a dying star, where the fabric of space and time teetered on the brink of collapse. It was in this extreme environment, teeming with raw Nihil energy, that Obsydius forged the Monolith from pure Deathstone. The exact process remains a mystery, but the result was a weapon of unfathomable power.

The Monolith of Despair, a staff seemingly carved from darkness itself, is a testament to Obsydius’ ruthless ambition. It can open portals and creating small black holes, ripping through the fabric of reality itself. The Monolith can also direct devastating blasts of raw Nihil energy, obliterating all in its path.

In close combat, the Monolith proves equally formidable, becoming an unstoppable force in Obsydius’ grip. However, its abilities extend beyond mere destruction. The Monolith can absorb Radiance energy, converting it into Nihil. This power allows Obsydius to undermine the strength of his foes, augmenting his own might in the process.

Perhaps the most horrifying capability of the Monolith is its power to corrupt Wayfolk, twisting them into monstrous, scarred Abominari. This transformation process, enabled by the Monolith’s unholy connection to Obsydius’ DNA, infuses Wayfolk with Nihil, turning them into vicious thrall warriors, bound to Obsydius’ will.

Despite the dreadful power it possesses, the Monolith cannot be wielded by any but Obsydius himself. His DNA is inextricably linked with the weapon, preventing anyone else from utilizing its power. To date, the Monolith of Despair stands unchallenged as the most powerful weapon on Aurea Olam. Its neutralization or destruction is yet to be discovered by the Wayfolk, rendering it a grim symbol of Obsydius’ reign of terror and the cause of a persistent pall of despair over Aurea Olam. With every passing day, the legend of this terrifying weapon grows, fueling fear and speculation about the true extent of its capabilities.

Abominari (the Abominable Horde or Abominable Ones):

The Abominari, the unfortunate and unwilling foot soldiers of Obsydius’ Void Leviathan, are creatures of dread and despair. Once members of the diverse races of Aurea Olam, they have been captured and corrupted by the malevolent power of the Monolith of Despair.

Physically, the Abominari are grotesque distortions of their former selves, warped by the Nihil that courses through them. The touch of the Monolith has twisted their forms, leaving them scarred and monstrous. They bear little resemblance to their original races, with their features distorted and their skin turned a sickly, void-like pale purplish white. Their eyes are perhaps the most disturbing of all: empty of light, reflecting only the consuming darkness that has claimed them.

The process of their transformation is as tragic as it is horrific. Each Abominari is a victim, their will subjugated and their essence corrupted by Obsydius’ dominion. Their identities are stripped away, replaced by an insatiable hunger for the Radiance they have been denied. Stripped of their autonomy, the Abominari are compelled to serve Obsydius, driven to propagate the Void and spread despair.

The history of the Abominari is as bleak as their existence. Since Obsydius’ rise to power, they have been an ever-present threat, a dark tide sweeping across Aurea Olam. They serve as a reminder of Obsydius’ power and the terrible fate that awaits those who fall under his influence. Yet, despite their fearsome reputation, the Abominari are more pitiable than they are evil. Trapped in their tormented state, they are pawns in a game of cosmic power, their lives reduced to tools of war. The Abominari, despite their monstrous forms and dreadful purpose, are a symbol of Obsydius’ reign—a reign that may yet be challenged by the indomitable spirit of Aurea Olam’s inhabitants.
